What is my position on the land
Situation : I bought a residential plot in Old Alwal, Hyderabad, Telangana in the year 2018, the seller has done forgery of the documents and he also made a GPA in registration office using someone’s (using fake ID of actual owner) it without any original document, they were able to complete the registration.
While buying land we have verified with lawyer and registration office, it was a clear deed. In the year 2019, actual title owner filed a FIR (complaint) on the seller and seller has accepted that he has cheated and surrendered to police station. I would like to know what shall be my stand on this land and how can I get my land or money?
Actual owner who filed a compliant will stay in different state, he is almost 75 years old. Now he gave power of representation to one lawyer. When we call for discussion or settlement actual owner is asking to discuss with lawyer, but he is very adamant and willing to discuss on these matters. He is threatening that land belongs to him, says he has political influence. Please advise
