I need to know my eligibility to gratuity.

Situation : I need to know my eligibility to gratuity. My company follows 5 days a week schedule. My joining date in company was June 10, 2013 and my relieving date was Mar 31, 2018. I had a 3 months of leave without pay within mentioned time period. Starting Apr 01,2018, i went on a leave without pay again, but did not join back the company. Currently we are in process of settlement of full and final. Am i eligible to receive gratuity as per Indian Law? Can my employer deny gratuity due to company's policy of gratuity at 5 year completion only? What choices do i have, if my employer denies gratuity?
